DUG Software has been developed for rapid and accurate delivery of DownUnder GeoSolutions' very successful professional services business. In response to customer requests for direct access to these leading edge tools, DownUnder GeoSolutions has commercialised their unique, proprietary quantitative interpretation workflow.
Four tools make up this workflow:
- DUG Well Well log visualisation and manipulation, format conversion, Gassmann fluid substitution and deterministic AVO modelling
- DUG Insight 2D/3D seismic interpretation tool enhanced for rock physics guided stratigraphic interpretation, visualisation and synthetics
- DUG Mod+ Complete forward modelling toolkit incorporating DUG Rock for depth dependent end-member lithology trend interpretation; DUG Distill for stochastic AVO and rock property forward modelling; DUG Well for deterministic AVO modelling of well logs; and DUG Insight for 3D synthetic modelling while interpreting.
- DUG Spike Seismic inversion, generating absolute and relative P Impedance, S Impedance and Density using a three-term Shuey approximation. Available 2010.
DownUnder GeoSolutions offers a range of E&P services including quantitative interpretation, petrophysics, seismic time processing and depth imaging, and integrated multidisciplinary studies.
